The Beach Wood Road area is at the north end of the plantation on the oceanside. Its entrance coming from the north is through the David Gregory gate. If coming from the south the best entrance is through the main guard gate at Marsh Lagoon.

This area has the OMNI work-out and indoor pool facility, tennis and pickleball courts, as well as the Amelia Island Club Restaurant and meeting facility. There are several beach accesses for owners - not shown on this map at present. In addition there is a mile long walking path along Beach Wood Road from David Gregory south around to the OMNI shops and Chapel.

There Sunken Forest is an area of natural Maritime Canopy / Coastal Strand that stretches to the dune land. A wooden boardwalk connects to hill top viewing points as well as a walkway to the beach.
