The Environmental Assets Committee volunteers and the new AIPCA Environmental Manager spent months diagnosing the issues. Our maritime road canopy, our forest parcels, our parks, our lakes, our dunes and our wildlife habitats all need help.

The professional documentation from two years of professional studies quantified the extent of the recovery needed as observed by the Committee and attested to by owner focus groups.

Discussions with contractors and direct work verified the approximate cost to fully recover. Working together we put together a step-by-step plan to improve maintenance, while recovering from ten years of neglected maintenance.

It’s way too much to get done in a year, so we prioritized the work and spread recovery out over four years then added enhancements to make our natural environment more beautiful and fun to experience.
